During the months of July, August, and September, the Tuscan Maremma transforms into a paradise for those who love cycling away from traffic, immersed in wild and authentic nature. Among white roads, the scent of the scrub and precious silences

The best departures are early in the morning, when the light is soft and the air is still fresh. From Casa Olivo, it only takes a few minutes to reach routes that seem designed specifically for those seeking adventure and silence: panoramic loops between Scansano, Magliano, Pereta, Montorgiali, Saturnia, and more challenging stretches that touch the coast or climb towards the slopes of Mount Amiata.

Italian Gravel Championships on Amiata Mount

On July 27, 2025, Monte Amiata will host the Italian Gravel Championship, organized by ASD Amiata Bike. This event represents an unmissable event for gravel enthusiasts, combining competition and scenic beauty in a unique setting.

InGravel 13 – 14 settembre 2025

Within the rich gravel calendar of the Maremma, the inGravel event in Magliano in Toscana, scheduled for 13 and 14 September, represents an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the iconic landscapes of the Maremma land. Between vineyards, historic cellars and villages, participants will be able to choose between two routes on Saturday 13th: the short, of approximately 45 km with 1000 metres of elevation gain, and the long, of approximately 80 km with 1700 metres of elevation gain, both designed to let you experience the authentic beauty and flavour of the Maremma. On Sunday 14th, there will be space for sharing and team spirit with a social ride of approximately 55 km, which will also tackle the iconic stretch of the Muro del Pirata, a tribute to the effort and legend of cycling.

MVM Trail September 26 – 28, 2025

Among the most evocative events of the gravel summer, the Marevettamare Trail (MVM Trail) returns from September 26 to 28, 2025 for its fourth edition. An adventure that begins by the sea, among the sands and pine forests of Marina di Grosseto, and slowly climbs through olive groves, vineyards, chestnut, fir and beech forests, until it reaches the mountainous heart of Tuscany: the peak of Monte Amiata.

A route that is much more than a GPS track: it is a sensory journey, uniting sea, hills and mountains, crossing different ecosystems, lights and ever-changing temperatures.

At the end, the same kilometers you covered on the way there will gently guide you back to the starting point, where hot showers, a well-deserved pasta party, and a tangible reminder of this experience will await you: your personalized tile, delivered at sunset, on the seashore.

An event designed for those seeking more emotion than time, more silence than applause.

Fiorino Mud 27 – 28 September 2025

An unmissable gravel event, with three itineraries, Mud70, Mud100 and Mud400. The Fiorino Mud with the 400 km that also crosses the Maremma. While the 70 and 100 km take place between the Valdarno, the Chianti del Valdarno and the Val d'Orcia with departure and arrival from the hu Norcenni Girasole village. For the 400 km, the arrival of the first stage and the restart of the second stage are scheduled at the PuntAla Camp & Resort.

Indian Summer 17 – 18 – 19 ottobre 2025

L’Indian Summer è un’affascinante uscita gravel che si svolge in autunno nella splendida Maremma Toscana a pochi chilometri da noi a Paganico. Ideale sia per ciclisti esperti che per appassionati in cerca di avventura, il percorso si snoda su sterrati antichi, offrendo scorci mozzafiato e un’atmosfera ricca di tranquillità e fascino. Fra passaggi tecnici e tratti più rilassanti, l’evento celebra la bellezza dei colori caldi della natura che a ottobre raggiungono il loro apice.
