This weekend, Scansano and the evocative locations of the Maremma region welcome the start of the Morellino Classica Festival 2025, now in its fourteenth edition. Starting July 13th, the event brings top-notch classical music accompanied by a tasting of the celebrated Morellino di Scansano, included in the ticket price. Each concert takes place in locations chosen for their beauty and atmosphere: from the piano at sunrise at the Etruscan site of Poggio Buco, to the churches and castles that enliven summer evenings.
Among the first events on the program, the three-day piano concert series (July 27–August 3) stands out, featuring great Italian performers and promising young international talents; while on August 6, at the Castagnoli Theater in Scansano, a tribute to the famous Stradivarius is expected, featuring a renowned violinist and pianist.
The festival is more than just music: it's a sensory journey through the landscapes, history, and wines of Maremma. A perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture, breathing in art in an authentic and natural setting.
