EVOO Aroldo Bio
A story that tells of a passion that comes from afar
Our history dates back to the late 19th century, when great-great-grandfather Ciriaco Guerrini, a resident of Florence, decided to invest in Maremma, purchasing land and farmhouses near Campagnatico. A far-sighted decision that marked the beginning of the deep bond between our family and this authentic land.

Our strength comes from the territory
From the olive harvest to the cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil extraction, less than 24 hours always pass: a rapid and controlled process that maximizes freshness, authenticity, and nutritional properties.
The pristine hills of the Tuscan Maremma, in the heart of the Mediterranean, offer an ideal environment for growing olive trees. Here, on soils naturally suited to olive growing, an excellent organic extra virgin olive oil is produced, an authentic expression of a unique terroir.
Certified Organic
In our production process, we prioritize quality. We harvest the olives while they are still green, at a time when the oil yield is intentionally low. This choice allows us to obtain an extra virgin olive oil with a high concentration of polyphenols and an intense and distinctive organoleptic profile.
Our oil is not only organic and excellent in flavor: it's also a health ally. The polyphenols in extra virgin olive oil help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress, offering scientifically recognized benefits for the cardiovascular system.

A story that tells of a passion that comes from afar
It all began with great-grandfather Aroldo, who expanded the family's land, planted new olive groves, and opened an olive oil mill in the village, laying the foundations for a long-lasting business. In the years that followed, it was grandfather Alberto who carried on the company with dedication, at a time when promoting a quality product from a small, authentic Maremma village was a real challenge in a world still lacking global distribution networks.
The company has endured difficult times, such as the freezing winter of 1985, when temperatures as low as -23°C destroyed over 90% of the olive trees. But from that very crisis came the impetus to reborn: our father Giovanni believed in the future of this land and decided to replant, dreaming of bringing the silver of the olive trees back to the hills. Today, the company boasts 3,500 trees spread across 10 hectares, along with two farmhouses dedicated to agritourism.
The olive tree is a plant that thrives through generations: it requires care, dedication, and patience. It takes over 10 years to begin producing and at least 20 to reach full maturity. Thus, with respect for nature and the work of those who came before us, we continue the journey begun by Aroldo. Today, together with our father Giovanni, we—Francesco and Gianluca—passionately continue this family project, welcoming visitors and enthusiasts to Agriturismo Casa Olivo and sharing with them the authentic excellence of our land.
