Gianluca con Olio Aroldo Bio 2026

There is a precise moment, in the autumn of the Maremma, when time seems to slow down, as if to listen. Amidst the silvery foliage of the olive trees—beneath a sky that already carries a hint of cold and the promise of what is to come—the branches once again stir with the labor of human hands. The olive harvest has begun.

In the hills of Campagnatico, where the land holds ancient stories and deep roots, hands once again grasp the branches with the kind of respect that only those who have worked the soil for generations carry in their hearts. It is the season of Olio Aroldo—a new organic harvest taking shape beneath the Tuscan sun, already filling our thoughts long before it reaches our tables.

Four generations to learn not to be in a hurry

There are stories that are not measured in years, but in seasons—in sudden frosts, in rebirths, and in gestures passed down without the need for words. From the choice made by great-great-grandfather Ciriaco in the late 19th century, through great-grandfather Aroldo—who planted these trees and opened the village olive mill—all the way to the present day, with the daily care provided by Francesco and Gianluca.

At its heart lies the memory of a land that is both resilient and vulnerable—much like the time in 1985 when a deep freeze wiped out nearly everything—and the courageous decision to start anew. Every bottle and every convenient "Bag-in-Box" (available in 3- and 5-liter sizes) that holds our extra virgin olive oil today carries this story within it: a blend of Leccino, Frantoio, and Moraiolo olives, cultivated using certified organic methods.

Less than twenty-four hours: patience and care

Creating an excellent oil requires patience, yet when it comes to milling, time becomes precious. Less than twenty-four hours elapse from the moment the olives leave the branches to the moment they are cold-pressed—right here in the heart of our Maremma.

The olives are harvested at the perfect stage of ripeness, when their aromas are at their peak and the polyphenols retain their properties and that clean, slightly spicy character that true lovers of good oil recognize. The rest is pure waiting, dedication, and the knowledge that quality doesn't allow shortcuts.

Step into the olive grove: a journey that continues at home

This year’s harvest is officially on its way, and pre-orders are now open. Whether you choose the elegance of a classic bottle, also perfect as a gift, or the everyday convenience of a Bag-in-Box, a surprise awaits you.

When the package arrives at your home, try one simple thing: scan the QR code printed on the packaging. It will be like taking a direct leap into the olive groves of Campagnatico, photos, videos, and stories will open the gates to our olive orchard, giving you an up-close look at everything that lies behind every single drop.

Meanwhile, as the olives give way to bare branches and the new oil rests, waiting to reach our tables, we continue to look around—our feet firmly planted in our land, our gaze fixed on the future.
